Jul. 9th, 2009 05:35 pmGoing to a coffee shop later and listenin' to musics! Also, I burnt the stuff you wanted me to burn, Mom.
THINGS WOT MEL MUST DO:
1: Dishes.
2: SHOWER.
3: Get Mel's password back. (Shouldn't take too long?)
I signed both Irma and Mickey up for the Dark Nexus plot. I picked names close to what they were because I noticed how Emma became Anna - both similiar, in a way. Irma is now Irene, and Mickey is now Shirley. (both begin with IR, and the others have an 'ee' sound at the end of the name.)

Jul. 9th, 2009 11:25 pmOMG TODAY WAS AWESOME!!!
Grandpa called me up, told me he'd take me to downtown Monroe. I took my purse, my phone, and a book. Anyway, we went down there, they dropped me off, and I walked through the little bakery connected to a couple other stores, and got something to eat at Coney Island. I was waiting for my food when I saw two little girls come in with their faces painted. I asked their Mom where they got it - she said down by the Book Nook. When I was done, (I gave the waitress a tip before I left) I got a coffee and saw the lady doing the face painting.
After I got the coffee, I headed over there, and stood in line while some people got their faces painted, and talked to a few artists sitting down and painting. While I was talking, out of the corner of my eye, I saw - a horse. Pulling a carriage.
I may have squealed. One of the artists said "And it's free, too!"
I got my face painted by the clown lady, and will have Mom take a picture later of it. After it was done, I went over to wait in line for my turn on the carriage. While this was going on, I spotted this guy with a couple of dogs I've seen before - one a basset hound, one a big white one. They're kind of icons in the town - if you go there enough, you'll see them at least once.
I quickly went over and loved on the dogs. The basset, Goose, will paw at your leg until you rub her belly. She's got to be, like, the most spoiled dog in Monroe, other than Dresden. She's about fourteen, too.
After I took a couple pictures of the dogs, I went back to get into line. Shortly after it, I got on the carriage ride. The horse was beautiful, and the ride was lovely.
After that, Grandma and Grandpa came to pick me up, but we decided to stay for a little bit and listened to the rest of the music. We had a couple of pastries, but Grandma's was too rich, and mine tasted like it had been out for three days.
But other than that little snag, today was really good.
